    mebitek - Introduction

    Hi everyone,
I'm new on this forum and I hope to find great resources here!
I started making music about in the 1994 with some experimental black metal mixed with electronic (all has been lost) then I move on hard tekno sonorities.
In those years I'm moving my productions into electro dark ambient cinematic style.

You can find my lastest (mixed tracks starting from tekno to cinematic ones) here:

actually I'm working on a full album trying to be inspired by artists like "Ulver", "Atrium Carceri" and "The Haxan Cloak"

if you get time to take a listen to my tracks and give some feedback should be really nice!!!
thx to all and thx to let me partecipate to this forum

    regards from Sardinia
    Claudio

Hi Slunk, thanks for your kindly answer!
yes I'm a bit surprised, cause a lot of view and nobody that spend a word.
however, thanks a lot to listend and yes I do all by myself, from composing, performance, mix and mastering. I'm trying to improve my skills, and I was hoping that forum members can give to me some advices.
    thanks again!!!

No worries! I'm here for the same reason. I've got to say, your bass is pretty spot on - one thing I struggle with is making big, phat bass. What software are you using and how do make your bass? I usually use a lot of compression with a 'sub bass' plug in. I sometimes use side chain compression for my dance tracks. Do you do anything differently?

    Hi,
I use bass from different vst all from Native Instrument Komplete. massive is a good choice for me. I usually do not compress bass directly but I work on final mastering to clean the whole mix (i.e. cutting under 30hz freqs, multi band comporession and so on).

I have NI Reaktor but have only used the synth presets so far, really need to learn how to use it asap. I usually cut at 25hz. Multi-band compression on the bass alone?!
